In the darkest moments of Amy’s life, she was not searching for magical solutions or advice to overcome her continued adversity. She was searching for companions to travel by her side, offering comfort blanketed with love and truth.

There were moments when she was on top of the world, but ultimately, tragedies kept knocking her down to the cold and barren earth. She felt God was punishing her, and her tears were not meant to grow gardens in her soul.

The facade of a perfect life could not endure a devastating divorce and multiple near-death experiences. Finally, traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress syndrome left Amy feeling physically, emotionally, and spiritually incomplete.

A series of life lessons, and a profound spiritual awakening transformed Amy’s method of existence. She discovered her creativity and imagination were real, and genuinely a gift from God. As she integrated her knowledge from various doctrines, her wisdom grew exponentially.

As life took unexpected turns, she found herself completely alone. Soon, Melancholy was her companion, and together they rejoiced in the sadness of solitude. The wind and the tides whispered her name to remind Amy of who she was meant to be in this world.

Amy rediscovered her magic and shifted her focus internally. Soon, the people and creatures of the land joined her to write White Heron, A Creation Story. Currently, she is creating a beautiful woodland sanctuary where people can find a companion in their darkest hours.
