Monica Talbot–Kerkes & Sharla Charpentier

Llamaste! We are cousins who are making our dreams of writing adventurous and educational children’s books come true with our children’s book series The Llove Llama & Friends.

Our first two books are “The Llove Llama Travels the 7 Continents” and “Ned the Narwhal Voyages the 5 Oceans”.

Our books are all about adventure and education! We want to help parents and educators teach children not only the importance of geography, but to positively impact them by bringing awareness to world crises such as animal endangerment, ocean pollution, and other threats to our environment . We do this by combining fun-fiction with non-fiction. We truly believe that children need global awareness in order to develop as individuals and relate to others in this world we share!

Monica is a published author, English as a Second Language and substitute teacher, and works as a Farm Director at Rowanwood Farm- a miniature llama farm in Newtown, CT. Come visit! She resides in Connecticut with her husband and two children.

Sharla is the Amazon Best Selling author of “Miracles to Mayhem”, artist, lawyer, and substitute teacher. She resides in Michigan with her four children.
